Photo Lithography: Developing the image can be done by using Adobe Photoshop as a drawing tool then printing the image on ink jet Mylar. The image can be drawn on a textured Mylar free hand also. The Mylar is flipped over on a light sensitive metal litho plate and exposed by ultra violet light in a vacuum table. The plate is developed by a special solution and then washed off with water. The plate is cleaned up of unwanted lines by image remover and than etched with a special gum solution. The plate is kept damp and ink is rolled across the plate; the ink will adhere to the image. When the plate is fully inked, a dry piece of paper is laid on top of plate and it is printed by a press with a scraper bar.
